FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER AS A CLIENT TO PLACE AN ORDER?

No, not always. For non-veterinary supplies such as feed, supplements and animals care products, you don't need to register as a veterinary client. All customers can order animal supplies by email or Whatsapp. All we need are your contact details for delivery and payment, which will we be in touch for.

For our Veterinary services including Vet visits and prescription medications, we do require client registration which involves filling out a registration form with details of your animals as well as your usual full service vet practice so that we can keep your animals' records up to date and share information where needed.

I AM NOT REGISTERED WITH A VET, CAN YOU BE MY FULL TIME VET?

Unfortunately as we are a solo, mobile only veterinary service, we are unable to provide the full diagnostic imaging, surgical and hospitalisation facilities to offer comprehensive care. We recommend that clients are registered at a static (bricks & mortar) veterinary practice alongside our service to ensure your animals have access to comprehensive care.

We offer home visits for wellbeing, preventative healthcare and minor ailments. For more information about what services we offer and how we can help you and your animals please get in touch.

WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

With a focus on preventative healthcare, wellbeing and minor ailments, we offer a wide range of services to animals of all shapes and sizes. This includes vaccinations, parasite prevention and control, nutrition and much more. For details on specific services for pets, horses and farm animals please see our Services page or contact us to find out more.

DO YOU SEE SICK PETS?

We offer home visits for wellbeing, preventative healthcare and minor ailments including skin, ear and nutritional issues. For injury, acute or serious illness please contact your usual vet in the first instance. As a solo, mobile only veterinary service, we are unable to provide the full diagnostic imaging, surgical and hospitalisation facilities to offer comprehensive care to unwell animals.

For more details on how we can help you and your pets, please get in touch.

DO YOU NEUTER PETS OR OFFER SURGERY?

No. Unfortunately as we are a solo, mobile only veterinary service, we are unable to currently provide surgical and hospitalisation facilities to allow us to offer surgical treatment.

We are however, more than happy to offer advice and if we feel that a surgical option is necessary for your pet we will let you know and help you to arrange this if required.

DO YOU OFFER EMERGENCY OUT OF HOURS CARE?

Yes. We provide our own 24/7 out of hours care in line with the RCVS guidelines & the services we provide. Please see our OUT OF HOURS information for more details.

Please note that we are unable to offer hospitalisation, X-ray or surgical care as we are not equipped to provide these services, so for sudden, urgent or serious injury or illness our out of hours care may not be the most suitable and we are happy to signpost you to a more suitable provider which may be your full service veterinary practice if you have one.

DO YOU TREAT EXOTIC ANIMALS?

Yes, we offer both pet supplies and routine veterinary care for rabbits, guinea pigs and other small mammals.

Unfortunately, at the moment, we are unable to offer Vet visits to other exotic species, including birds and reptiles, due to the handling and health & safety requirements for seeing these species in a mobile setting.

HOW MUCH DO VISITS COST?

Our aim is to make quality veterinary care accessible, affordable and convenient. We hope you'll agree that our fees reflect this.

Visits start from only £10 for Campbeltown, Southend and the immediately  surrounding areas. Visits out with Campbeltown are charged according to distance with an additional £5-£30 surcharge depending on location.
